Thomas Torak Solo Exhibition: 'Alive with Paint' -- Opening Friday, October 18th, 6:30-9pm

October brings us into prime leaf peeping season with the work of Thomas Torak, a Vermont-based artist whose landscapes capture our love of nature and still lifes make us want to reach out and snatch a piece of fruit.  Thomas will be in attendance on Friday, October 18th, from 6:30-9pm to open 'Alive with Paint' an exhibition of work being featured in the October 2013 issue of The Artists Magazine.

Tom received his training from the prestigious Art Students League of New York, mostly under the instruction of Frank Mason.  He learned how to prepare his own canvas', mediums and varnishes -- techniques he continues to use today along with grinding his own paint.  Passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others, Tom travels down to New York City twice a week to teach at the Art Students League.

Please let us know if you would like a preview of the show -- we hope to see you all there!
